Agreement Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the website design, development, hosting, domain, email, maintenance, and related services provided by RumbleWebsites ("we," "us," or "our"). By approving a quote or proposal, paying a deposit or invoice, subscribing to hosting, or instructing us to begin work, you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms.
Services Provided
RumbleWebsites provides website design, development, hosting, domain, email, maintenance, and related digital services. The specific services included for each client depend on the selected package, approved quote, invoice, proposal, or written agreement. If anything is unclear, clients are encouraged to ask before making payment so important project inclusions or exclusions can be confirmed in writing.
Our services may include:
- Custom website design and development
- Standard, Premium, Ultimate, NPO, e-commerce, add-on, or custom-scoped website projects, where selected
- Client input on content organization, page structure, and which sections should be separated into individual pages
- Additional webpage development, where requested or outside the included package allocation, charged at the applicable per-page rate stated in the quote, pricing page, or invoice
- .co.za domain registration and management where included; .com and other extensions may be invoiced separately
- Business email setup and configuration where included or selected
- Responsive website design
- Rumble Websites managed hosting services or guidance for hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za, where selected
- Ongoing website maintenance, updates, and technical support for eligible managed hosting clients
Initial Website Design Process
Unless a selected package, quote, or written agreement states otherwise, standard website projects may begin with an initial layout or content structure that organizes the client's supplied content and required sections. During the review phase, clients can:
- Review the complete design layout and content organization
- Choose which sections should remain on a single scrolling page
- Request specific sections be separated into individual pages
- Decide on the final site structure that best suits their business needs
Note: Included page counts and extra-page rates depend on the selected package, approved quote, pricing page, or invoice. Additional pages outside the included allocation are charged separately.

Current Prices and Written Confirmation

- The client's approved quote, invoice, proposal, PayFast checkout, or written agreement confirms the price and scope for that specific purchase
- Website design, hosting, domains, and add-ons are separate services unless a selected package clearly states that an item is included
- All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless clearly stated otherwise
- If a pricing mistake, outdated amount, or unclear package detail is identified before work begins, we will clarify it with the client and resolve it fairly before proceeding
Initial Payment Details
- Deposits secure your project slot and cover planning, setup, and the start of development work
- Balances are due when the agreed package is complete and ready for launch or final handover, unless a written agreement says otherwise
- Deposit refunds are considered only in the limited situations described in the refund section below
- If RumbleWebsites cannot reasonably deliver the agreed core service, an appropriate refund, credit, or alternative resolution will be considered in good faith
Project Communication Expectations
Good communication helps us complete projects faster and with fewer delays.
- Clients should aim to respond to key project questions and approvals within a reasonable time
- Delays in content delivery, approvals, or feedback may delay development and launch timelines
- If a project goes inactive for an extended period, we may pause work until communication resumes
- Where possible, we will work in good faith with clients who have genuine delays or emergencies
- Basic Website Design: R500 deposit to start, with the remaining balance due on completion. The current base package is R1,500 for 1-3 pages, with extra pages charged at the current rate shown on the pricing page.
- Premium Website Design: the current public package is R5,000 for up to 10 pages, with a R1,000 deposit and R4,000 balance. Extra pages and eligible discounted add-ons are charged as shown on the pricing page or approved quote.

- NPO Website Design: R250 deposit to start, with the remaining balance due on completion. The discounted rate is subject to valid South African NPO registration documents.
- Custom Projects: deposit, balance, milestones, and payment schedule are agreed in writing before work begins because pricing is project-specific.
- Website Add-ons: quoted and billed separately from website design and hosting unless the selected package or written quote clearly includes them. Add-ons may be payable upfront, with the project balance, or as a standalone add-on payment depending on the item and timing.
- Hosting: billed separately from website design and paid through PayFast for Rumble Websites recurring subscriptions.
Important Payment Notes
- Recurring Rumble Websites hosting subscriptions are managed through PayFast only.
- Bank transfer, EFT, cash, or manual monthly payments are not accepted for recurring Rumble Websites hosting subscriptions unless we expressly agree in writing for a special case.
- Subscription billing is due according to the chosen monthly or yearly cycle.
- Clients may contact us before payment if they are unsure which package, add-on, or hosting option applies to their needs.
Website Hosting Options
RumbleWebsites offers managed hosting services, and also provides a partner-hosting pathway through Domains.co.za for clients who prefer to manage hosting directly.
Managed hosting may include, depending on the selected package and current pricing page:
- Website hosting resources such as storage, bandwidth, cPanel access, SSL support, backups, email accounts, and subdomains according to the published package limits
- Ongoing website changes for eligible hosted websites, including reasonable text, image, styling, and content updates
- Configuration assistance, SSL guidance, and general technical support for the hosted website
Hosting resource add-ons:
- Extra storage, additional addon-domain capacity, or similar hosting resource upgrades are charged according to the current pricing page or written quote
- Hosting resource add-ons are separate from website feature add-ons such as chatbots, review systems, e-commerce, or custom dashboards
Pricing:
- Monthly: current base managed hosting starts from R150/month, with any first-month promotion shown on the pricing page or PayFast checkout
- Yearly: yearly hosting is charged at the current yearly amount shown on the pricing page or PayFast checkout
Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za is not a RumbleWebsites hosting subscription. It means the client signs up directly with Domains.co.za through our partner link and manages their own hosting account, billing, domain settings, cPanel, DNS, SSL, email, backups, renewals, and configuration.
What this option includes:
- Direct hosting relationship between the client and Domains.co.za
- Use of Domains.co.za hosting features, tools, package limits, support channels, billing, and terms
- If RumbleWebsites designed the website, we will assist with the initial launch and provide a basic tutorial or guidance on how configurations work
- General advice from RumbleWebsites on where to get started, where reasonably possible
Not included:
- No RumbleWebsites managed hosting subscription
- No unlimited website changes included
- No 24/7 RumbleWebsites hosting support for Domains.co.za account issues
- No ongoing RumbleWebsites responsibility for cPanel, DNS, SSL, email, backups, package upgrades, renewals, or server configuration inside the client's Domains.co.za account
- Website changes are billed separately from R10 to R1000 depending on the task, unless a written quote states otherwise
- Rumble Websites Hosting Services: resources and hosting add-ons are managed through RumbleWebsites according to the package selected on the pricing page or quote
- Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za: resources, package limits, upgrades, downgrades, billing, renewals, and hosting terms are controlled directly by Domains.co.za and the client's chosen package
- Client responsibility: clients choosing Domains.co.za partner hosting are responsible for reading and accepting Domains.co.za's own terms, pricing, package limits, renewal rules, and support policies
- Rumble Websites Hosting Services: recurring hosting subscriptions must be paid through the secure PayFast gateway
- Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za: payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and package changes are handled directly between the client and Domains.co.za
- Hosting payments: paid hosting periods are generally non-refundable because hosting resources are allocated for that period, except where required by law or where RumbleWebsites cannot reasonably provide the paid service
- Cancellation: RumbleWebsites hosting may be cancelled anytime; service remains active through the paid period unless suspended for breach, abuse, or non-payment
Pricing Changes for Existing Customers
We aim to keep hosting pricing stable and to give clients fair notice before any recurring RumbleWebsites hosting price change.
- Rumble Websites Hosting Services: existing customer pricing is subject to review according to the current pricing policy shown on the pricing page, currently every 2 years for existing customers
- Advance notice: any RumbleWebsites hosting price adjustment will be communicated at least 30 days before it takes effect
- Customer choice: existing customers may continue at the new rate or cancel their subscription before the new rate applies, with no cancellation penalty from RumbleWebsites
- Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za: RumbleWebsites does not control Domains.co.za pricing, package changes, renewal fees, or promotional terms
- Rumble Websites Hosting Services: clients can contact us to discuss hosting resource adjustments, hosting add-ons, or package upgrades
- Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za: configuration changes, upgrades, downgrades, DNS changes, SSL settings, email configuration, renewals, and account management must be handled by the client inside Domains.co.za or through Domains.co.za support
- Optional paid assistance: RumbleWebsites may assist with website changes or selected technical tasks where possible, billed separately from R10 to R1000 depending on the task unless quoted otherwise
Website design is a one-time service purchased separately from hosting unless the selected package clearly says otherwise:
- Basic Website Design: current base package is R1,500 for 1-3 pages, with a R500 deposit and remaining balance on completion; additional pages are charged separately
- Premium Website Design: current public pricing is R5,000 for up to 10 pages, with extra pages and eligible discounted add-ons charged as shown on the pricing page or approved quote
- Ultimate Design Package: current public package is R20,000 and includes unlimited standard website pages within the agreed sitemap plus all active eligible website add-ons listed on the pricing page
- NPO Website Design: discounted pricing is available only for verified South African non-profit organisations with valid NPO registration documents
- Custom Solutions: complex applications, integrations and other work outside the listed packages are individually scoped and quoted in writing before work begins
- E-Commerce — Online Store: a separate R10,000 package with its current scope, deposit and inclusions listed on the pricing page
- Website Add-ons: optional extras are quoted and billed separately from website design and hosting unless clearly included in the selected package or written quote
To keep service reliable for all clients, hosting and website services are subject to reasonable fair use.
- Resource monitoring: accounts may be monitored for excessive, abusive, unlawful, or harmful usage patterns
- Fair use policy: high usage may require optimization, resource upgrades, or a custom hosting arrangement
- Abuse prevention: illegal content, spam, malware, phishing, or malicious files may result in immediate restriction or suspension
- Performance protection: websites causing server issues may require optimization, caching, cleanup, or upgrade
- Client cooperation: we will try to communicate and resolve fair-use issues reasonably, unless urgent action is needed to protect the service, other clients, or legal compliance
Note: The pricing page and approved quote are intended to give clients transparent pricing before payment. If you are unsure which service or fee applies, contact us before payment and we will help clarify it.
Deposit Policy & Refund Terms
RumbleWebsites may provide initial discussions, business research, scoping guidance, and development consultations before a deposit is paid, free of charge. This helps us understand the client's business, recommend a suitable package, and prepare a fair quote or project direction.
A deposit is only required before RumbleWebsites begins the actual website build, design production, technical setup, e-commerce setup, custom development, or other implementation work. The deposit amount depends on the selected package, pricing page, quote, invoice, or written agreement. Deposits secure your project slot and cover project preparation, administration, setup, and the start of development work.
By paying a deposit, the client confirms that they are ready for RumbleWebsites to move from free consultation, research, and scoping into paid project work on their business website. RumbleWebsites usually begins project preparation, setup, design production, or development shortly after a deposit is received. Basic Website Design projects can sometimes be completed within 1-3 days when content is ready, so clients should only pay the deposit when they are ready for the build to begin.
Because the deposit authorizes us to start immediately, cancellation after payment may result in the deposit being retained in full or in part as a reasonable charge for work already performed, project preparation, reserved time, and opportunity cost.
Fair Refund Approach
Deposits are not treated as a penalty. If a project is cancelled, postponed, or cannot proceed, RumbleWebsites will consider whether meaningful work has already started, the work already done, time reserved, costs incurred, and the reason for cancellation before deciding whether a refund, partial refund, credit, or alternative resolution is fair.
- Before meaningful work starts: a refund or partial refund may be considered, less any payment fees, project preparation, admin, setup, or other reasonable costs already incurred after the deposit was paid
- After meaningful work starts: the deposit may be retained in full or in part as a reasonable charge for work performed, project preparation, reserved time, and opportunity cost
- If RumbleWebsites cannot reasonably deliver the agreed core service: an appropriate refund, credit, revised scope, or alternative resolution will be considered in good faith
- If a requested feature is technically unsuitable or unfeasible: we will discuss reasonable alternatives before treating the project as cancelled
Once meaningful work has started, RumbleWebsites may retain the deposit in full or in part in situations including:
- Client changes in requirements, direction, or project scope after work has commenced
- Client does not like a design direction, style choice, layout, colour choice, or visual preference where the work was created in good faith from the agreed brief; reasonable revisions are the normal remedy for design preferences
- Client cancels or postpones the project for personal or business reasons after planning, design, setup, or development has started
- Client fails to provide necessary content, access, feedback, approvals, or communication within a reasonable time
- Extended inactivity: the project is paused for a prolonged period because required client feedback, material, or access is not provided
- Work has already been completed in good faith based on the approved project direction
- The requested cancellation would leave RumbleWebsites unable to recover reasonable time, cost, or reserved-capacity losses already incurred
Refund Process
If a client believes a refund or partial refund is fair, the request should be made in writing so both sides have a clear record.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing with detailed explanation
- RumbleWebsites will assess the situation within 5-7 business days
- Relevant factors may include work already completed, project stage, third-party costs, payment fees, communication history, and whether the agreed core service can still reasonably be delivered
- If approved, clients must provide banking details by email or WhatsApp for refund processing
- Refunds will be processed within 14 business days via direct bank transfer
- Any payment-provider, bank, or third-party fees that cannot be recovered may be deducted from the refund where reasonable
- Any work completed up to that point may be provided to the client where appropriate and subject to payment status, ownership, and licensing terms
Active communication between client and RumbleWebsites is important for a successful project. Clients are expected to provide content, approvals, access details, and feedback within a reasonable time so that development can continue smoothly. Where a client has a genuine delay or emergency, we will try to work with them fairly if they communicate with us.
RumbleWebsites is committed to delivering quality website development services and will make every reasonable effort to complete your project successfully. This policy is intended to protect both sides: clients should not lose money unfairly where little or no work has been done, and RumbleWebsites should not carry unrecovered costs after time, planning, or development work has already been committed.
Subscription Management & Suspension Policy
- Clients are responsible for keeping monthly hosting subscriptions paid and active
- Recurring hosting payments are processed automatically through the PayFast subscription system
- Communication is essential. If a client is experiencing payment difficulty, they should contact RumbleWebsites by WhatsApp or email as soon as possible so we can try to assist
Payment Failure and Communication
If a hosting payment fails or remains unpaid, RumbleWebsites will make reasonable repeated attempts to contact the client by WhatsApp and/or email during the first 30 days.
- First notice: we will notify the client that payment has failed or is overdue and invite them to contact us
- Communication keeps options open: if the client communicates with us within the 30-day period, we may agree to a reasonable payment arrangement, temporary extension, or other supportive solution depending on the situation
- No communication: if there is no payment and no response, unpaid hosting cannot remain active indefinitely because server space and resources must be reserved for active paying clients
Important: This policy is intended to manage unpaid hosting fairly, not to punish clients. We are flexible where clients communicate with us.
- PayFast will continue attempting to process your subscription payment automatically
- Billing attempts continue until the outstanding subscription balance is settled
- You will receive notifications for each billing attempt
- If payment remains outstanding for 7 days with no suitable arrangement in place, the website, cPanel, email, and related hosting access may be suspended
- Suspension means the active hosting service may be taken offline until payment is resolved or a written arrangement is agreed
- If the client contacts us before or during suspension, we will try to assist fairly and may restore or keep services live where a reasonable arrangement is made
- PayFast may continue retrying payment depending on the subscription setup
Account Closure After 30 Days With No Communication
If there is no payment and no communication for 30 days after the failed or overdue payment, RumbleWebsites may treat the hosting service as no longer required.
- The active hosting subscription may be cancelled
- The cPanel account, email accounts, databases, and active hosting environment may be removed from the server so resources can be allocated to active paying clients
- RumbleWebsites may stop further payment follow-ups after the 30-day period and assume, without hard feelings, that the client no longer requires our hosting service or has moved to another provider
- This 30-day closure policy applies only where there is both non-payment and no meaningful communication from the client
Summary: If you communicate with us, we will try to help. If we hear nothing for 30 days, we must manage the hosting account as abandoned or no longer required.
Website Ownership and File Backup
Clients retain full ownership rights to their final paid-for website files, website content, and custom website work created for them.
- RumbleWebsites keeps secure backup copies of final website files separately from the active hosting account wherever reasonably possible
- Deleting or closing an unpaid cPanel or hosting account does not remove the client's ownership rights in their final paid-for website
- Clients may request a copy of their final website files at any time, including after hosting has been suspended or closed
- The client may host their website elsewhere, subject to any third-party licences, external platforms, payment systems, fonts, plugins, stock assets, or tools that cannot legally be transferred
- We aim to restore suspended services as soon as reasonably possible after payment is received or a written arrangement is agreed
- No restoration fees applied regardless of suspension duration
- Contact us immediately if experiencing payment difficulties - we are here to help where communication is open
Accidental Unsubscription
If you accidentally unsubscribe from your monthly hosting:
- Please contact us before resubscribing through the website subscription form
- Contact us immediately and we will email you a new subscription link
- The first month free promotion only applies to new clients
- Resubscribing through the public website may create an incorrect duplicate subscription or apply the first-month-free promotion incorrectly, and may need to be cancelled and replaced with the correct link
New Client Promotion: Monthly subscriptions include the first month free as a welcome offer. This promotion applies exclusively to first-time subscribers.
Client Responsibilities
To help RumbleWebsites deliver the project accurately and on time, clients are expected to provide or approve the information reasonably needed for their website.
- Accurate contact details for billing, project communication, and support
- Business information such as business name, services, location, contact details, opening hours, pricing, policies, and any important customer-facing information
- Branding materials where available, including logos, colours, images, videos, social media links, brochures, menus, catalogues, or other useful content
- Domain, hosting, email, PayFast, social media, or third-party account access where needed for setup or launch
- Clients are responsible for making sure the business information they provide is accurate, lawful, and not misleading
- Clients must only provide text, images, logos, music, videos, documents, product data, or other materials they own or have permission to use
- RumbleWebsites may help draft, organize, rewrite, or improve website copy based on the client's business information, research, and supplied material, but the client remains responsible for approving the final wording before launch
- Clients are responsible for checking regulated or sensitive claims, including health, financial, legal, educational, safety, product, pricing, discount, and qualification claims, before they are published
- Clients should provide feedback, decisions, approvals, and requested material within a reasonable time
- Delays in content, access, feedback, or approval may delay design, development, launch, support, or revision timelines
- If information is missing, RumbleWebsites may use reasonable placeholder content, public business information, or draft wording for review, but the client must approve final content before the website goes live
- Where the client approves final content or launch, RumbleWebsites may rely on that approval as confirmation that the client is satisfied with the information provided at that stage
Development Timeline & Process
Development Timeline
Website development timelines are estimates and depend on project complexity, client responsiveness, content readiness, access details, approvals, and current workload. RumbleWebsites works quickly and will aim to communicate any unavoidable delay as soon as reasonably possible.
- Simple websites: may be completed in 1-3 days where the brief is clear, content is ready, required access is available, and the project is within a basic scope
- Standard websites: commonly take around 5-10 business days after deposit payment, content receipt, and project details are confirmed
- Complex, e-commerce, premium, custom, or add-on-heavy projects: may take longer depending on integrations, page count, product data, custom features, testing, revisions, and third-party dependencies
- Ultimate Website Design Package: may require up to 2 months depending on how advanced the website is, including custom add-ons, e-commerce requirements, admin systems, integrations, page volume, testing, content readiness, and revision rounds
- Timeline factors: project scope, content availability, client feedback speed, approvals, third-party access, technical issues, and requested changes may affect delivery
Reasonable Revision Policy
RumbleWebsites offers generous, reasonable revisions during the initial development process. Our goal is to work collaboratively with the client so the final website properly reflects the agreed brief and business needs.
- Scope-appropriate revisions: revisions must relate to the agreed package, page count, design direction, content, and features
- Normal revision examples: text changes, image swaps, layout refinements, colour adjustments, section ordering, and reasonable styling improvements
- Major changes: new pages, new features, e-commerce changes, custom systems, major redesigns, new design directions, or changes outside the agreed brief may require additional fees or a revised quote
- Collaborative process: clients should provide clear, consolidated feedback where possible so revisions can be handled efficiently
- Response time: Revision requests typically addressed within 1-3 business days
Note: Revisions apply to the initial website development and review phase. Once the project is finalized, approved, or live, ongoing changes depend on the selected hosting package, support terms, or any separate quote.
Website Delivery & Setup Process
After deposit payment, content receipt, and any required access details, the website will usually move through the following delivery process:
- Step 1: development begins after the deposit is paid and the required content, brief, and access details are received or confirmed
- Step 2: the website is placed on a RumbleWebsites-controlled preview or staging subdomain, usually using rumblewebsites.co.za, for client review
- Step 3: the client reviews the website and provides clear, consolidated feedback or approval
- Step 4: reasonable revisions are completed and the website is finalized on the staging subdomain before final payment, hosting setup, and launch
Staging Subdomain Benefits & Time Limit
During the review phase, the website may be accessible via a RumbleWebsites-controlled preview or staging subdomain, allowing the client to:
- View your completed website in a live environment
- Test all functionality and features before final deployment
- Request reasonable scope-appropriate changes and revisions while maintaining project workflow
- Share the preview link with colleagues or stakeholders for feedback
- Approve the agreed project scope before final payment, hosting setup, and domain setup
Important: Staging Subdomain Time Limit
The staging subdomain is normally available for up to 1 month (30 days) from the date it is initially made available to the client, unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing. This policy supports efficient project completion and resource management.
- Feedback timing: Clients should ideally provide review feedback or approval within 7 days so the project can keep moving
- 30-day staging period: Clients have up to 1 month to review, request scope-appropriate revisions, and finalize the website unless otherwise agreed
- Staging removal: If the project is not finalized or there is no meaningful communication within 30 days, the staging website may be removed from the public preview subdomain to manage resources
- Project resumption: Clients can resume by contacting us, and the completed work can be restored to staging where reasonably possible
- File retention: Website files and completed work are kept securely where reasonably possible and are not intentionally deleted merely because a staging preview is removed
Note: This policy encourages timely project completion while accommodating clients who need to pause. If a client needs more time, they should contact us so a fair arrangement can be discussed.
Once the website is approved within the agreed scope and all launch requirements are met, final deployment may include the following where applicable to the selected package, hosting plan, quote, or written agreement:
- Payment completion: the client subscribes to the chosen hosting package where required and pays the remaining website balance
- Domain setup: the included or selected domain is registered, transferred, pointed, or configured where applicable
- Website migration: the website is moved from the staging subdomain to the permanent domain or agreed hosting location
- Email configuration: business email accounts are set up and tested where included in the hosting package or quote
- Final handover: relevant login credentials, access details, and basic guidance are provided where applicable
- Staging deployment: preview availability depends on the development timeline for the selected package and project scope
- Review feedback: clients should ideally review and send feedback within 7 days, with the staging preview normally available for up to 30 days
- Final deployment: live domain setup is usually completed within 24-48 hours after final payment, approval, hosting setup, and required access details are complete
- Domain propagation: DNS changes may take 24-72 hours to fully propagate globally and may depend on third-party domain or hosting systems
Intellectual Property Rights
- Clients retain ownership of content, logos, images, videos, product data, documents, branding materials, and other materials they provide to RumbleWebsites
- Clients confirm that they own or have permission to use the materials they provide, and that the materials may be used for the website project
- Clients grant RumbleWebsites a limited licence to use, copy, edit, resize, format, publish, and display supplied materials only as needed to provide the agreed services, build the website, prepare previews, and launch or support the website
- This licence ends when it is no longer reasonably needed for the service, except where materials remain part of the final website, backups, records, invoices, or lawful business documentation
- Upon full payment, the client receives ownership rights to the final paid-for website files, website content, and custom website work created specifically for that client
- The client may use, edit, move, back up, and host the final paid-for website elsewhere, subject to any third-party licences or platform restrictions
- Ownership does not transfer until all amounts due for the relevant project, package, add-on, or agreed scope have been paid in full, unless RumbleWebsites agrees otherwise in writing
- Unpaid drafts, rejected design directions, internal notes, working files, development tests, and unused concepts remain the property of RumbleWebsites unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Some websites may use third-party services, open-source code, fonts, icons, stock images, plugins, payment gateways, APIs, hosting platforms, analytics tools, maps, forms, or other external systems
- Those third-party materials remain subject to their own licences, terms, restrictions, and availability, and are not owned by the client or RumbleWebsites unless legally transferable
- RumbleWebsites retains ownership of its general know-how, reusable code patterns, internal tools, templates, admin utilities, development workflow, and non-client-specific systems used across projects
- Where reusable RumbleWebsites components are included in a client project, the client receives the right to use them as part of the final paid-for website, but not to resell, repackage, or claim ownership of RumbleWebsites' general tools or reusable systems
- RumbleWebsites may showcase completed public-facing website work in its portfolio, marketing materials, social media, or case studies
- We may use the client's business name, website link, screenshots, general project description, and non-confidential results for portfolio purposes
- We will not intentionally publish confidential client information, private login details, private customer data, or sensitive internal business information
- Clients may request that a portfolio item be removed or anonymised where there is a reasonable privacy, safety, confidentiality, or brand concern
Domain & Hosting
- .co.za domain registration is charged at the current price shown on the pricing page or approved quote. The current public price is R100 per year unless updated on the pricing page, invoice, or written agreement.
- The first year of a .co.za domain may be included free with eligible Website Design Packages where the active pricing page, quote, invoice, or written agreement says so.
- Other domain extensions, premium domains, transfers, renewals, restorations, or special domain requests may be quoted separately.
- Domain availability is not guaranteed until the domain has been successfully registered or transferred through the relevant registrar or registry process.
- Once payment and registration requirements are met, the client is intended to be the registrant or beneficial controller of the domain. Domain names remain subject to registrar, registry, ZADNA, ICANN, and other applicable domain rules.
- Annual renewal fees, transfer requirements, registrant information updates, and domain approval emails remain the client's responsibility unless RumbleWebsites has expressly agreed to manage them as part of an active hosting or domain service.
- Rumble Websites Hosting Services are managed hosting services billed through PayFast according to the active pricing page, PayFast checkout, invoice, quote, or written agreement.
- Hosting may include cPanel access, storage, bandwidth, SSL support, email accounts, subdomains, addon-domain capacity, backups, and technical support according to the selected package limits.
- Current public hosting starts from R150/month, with yearly and resource-upgrade options shown on the pricing page where available.
- Extra storage, additional addon-domain capacity, or other resource upgrades are charged according to the current pricing page or approved quote.
- We use reliable hosting infrastructure and third-party providers, but no hosting service can guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted availability.
- Monthly hosting subscriptions are billed in full for the month purchased. Payments are generally non-refundable because hosting resources are allocated for that month, except where required by law or where RumbleWebsites cannot reasonably provide the paid service.
- Yearly hosting subscriptions are billed in full for the annual term. Clients may cancel at any time, and hosting normally remains active until the end of the prepaid annual period unless suspended for non-payment, breach, abuse, or a written arrangement.
- Recurring Rumble Websites hosting subscriptions are handled through PayFast unless RumbleWebsites expressly agrees to another arrangement in writing.
Free Unlimited Standard Website Changes
Rumble Websites Hosting Services include free unlimited standard website changes while the website is actively hosted with RumbleWebsites. This is one of the core benefits of our managed hosting service and is designed to help clients keep their websites fresh without worrying about small update fees.
- Included standard changes: text updates, image swaps, contact details, business hours, menus, navigation wording, colour adjustments, styling refinements, small layout improvements, existing section updates, and similar day-to-day changes within the existing website structure.
- Fast support: many standard requests can be completed very quickly, sometimes within minutes, depending on workload, communication clarity, access, and request complexity.
- How to request changes: managed hosting clients can send change requests via email at info@rumblewebsites.co.za or WhatsApp at 0698126430.
- Fair use: unlimited standard changes are subject to reasonable use, clear instructions, technical feasibility, and the existing website structure.
- Paid add-ons listed on the pricing page, unless included in the selected package, quote, invoice, written agreement, or Ultimate Design Package
- New pages outside the purchased page allowance or package scope
- New custom features, dashboards, databases, booking systems, member systems, portals, calculators, configurators, automations, or third-party integrations
- New e-commerce functionality, payment gateway work, product-system rebuilds, or store upgrades outside the agreed package
- Full redesigns, major rebuilds, brand-new design directions, or rebuilding the website on a different platform
- Work for hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za, third-party hosting, or third-party developer code unless separately quoted
Ultimate Design Package Add-ons
Ultimate Design Package clients receive the current listed add-ons and future RumbleWebsites add-ons as part of their package, where technically reasonable and suitable for the website.
- Ultimate inclusions apply to RumbleWebsites add-ons, not third-party provider fees, payment gateway transaction fees, API usage fees, subscription costs, premium licences, or external platform charges unless expressly agreed in writing.
- Future add-ons are included when they are compatible with the client's website, reasonable to implement, and within the intended Ultimate package promise.
- RumbleWebsites may recommend alternatives where a requested add-on is technically unsuitable, unsafe, excessive, unavailable, or not appropriate for the client's website.
- Ultimate add-on work still depends on client content, access, approvals, technical feasibility, third-party systems, and reasonable scheduling.
Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za
Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za is not a RumbleWebsites managed hosting subscription. It means the client signs up directly with Domains.co.za through our partner link and manages their own hosting relationship.
- The client manages their own Domains.co.za account, billing, package limits, renewals, cPanel, DNS, SSL, email, backups, support requests, and configuration.
- Domains.co.za terms, pricing, renewal rules, package limits, support processes, and service availability apply directly between the client and Domains.co.za.
- RumbleWebsites does not provide included ongoing website changes, managed hosting support, DNS support, SSL support, email support, cPanel support, backup support, or 24/7 technical support for Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za.
- If RumbleWebsites designed the website, we will assist with the initial launch and provide basic guidance where reasonably possible.
- After launch, website changes or technical assistance for hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za are billed separately from R10 to R1000 depending on the task, unless a written quote states otherwise.

- E-commerce functionality - the E-Commerce — Online Store package, payment gateway work, store upgrades, and product-system changes

RumbleWebsites offers one custom-coded E-Commerce — Online Store package operated through a secure branded admin dashboard. The exact scope is controlled by the active pricing page and the written project agreement. The dashboard can manage products, stock, pricing, images, orders, website content, customer records, invoice links, payment tracking, banners, store notices and reporting from one tailored interface.
What We Offer:
- E-Commerce — Online Store (R10,000): unlimited website and product pages within the agreed sitemap, PayFast integration, customer accounts and order history
- Store management: a custom admin dashboard for products, stock, orders, analytics and branded automated order emails with invoice links
- Customer tools: the Client Profiling System, abandoned-cart email recovery and inventory alerts are included in the current package
- Other add-ons: eligible add-ons outside the included dashboard and profiling systems receive the discount shown on the active pricing page
Important Scope Notes:
- Package features are limited to what is listed on the active pricing page and agreed in writing before development starts
- Additional custom integrations, automation, or platform changes may require a separate quote
- Third-party platform fees, payment gateway fees, and service-provider charges remain the client’s responsibility
- Store performance and functionality may depend on the third-party tools, APIs, and services used in the project
Best Use Cases:
- E-Commerce — Online Store: intended for businesses that need a custom-coded online store, secure PayFast checkout, customer accounts and a tailored management dashboard
- Custom store requirements: integrations or workflows outside the published package are scoped and quoted separately before development begins
- Custom quotation: Each advanced feature is quoted individually based on complexity and development requirements
- Factors affecting cost: Uniqueness of system, integration complexity, testing requirements, and ongoing maintenance needs
- Transparent pricing: Full cost breakdown provided before development begins
- One-time fee: custom features are generally once-off development fees unless a recurring third-party, hosting, support, API, licence, or maintenance cost applies
- Future updates: minor content or styling changes to existing features may fall under managed hosting support, but feature expansions, rebuilds, integrations, or major changes may require a separate quote
Third-Party Developer Hosting Services
RumbleWebsites offers hosting services for websites developed by third-party developers. This service is available for clients who prefer to work with external developers while utilizing our hosting infrastructure.

- Testing responsibility: initial functionality testing is the developer's responsibility before handover
- Limited modifications: Changes to third-party developed sites may be restricted based on code complexity
- Developer dependency: Major modifications may require involvement of original developer

- Custom features: Advanced modifications to third-party code subject to additional development fees
Contact Information: Third-party developers should reach out to Alistair Dickerson via email (info@rumblewebsites.co.za) or WhatsApp (0698126430) to coordinate file transfer and setup arrangements.
Limitation of Liability
RumbleWebsites takes reasonable care to provide reliable website design, hosting, support, and related services. However, websites depend on client cooperation, third-party systems, internet infrastructure, hosting providers, payment gateways, domain registries, DNS systems, email providers, browsers, devices, and other factors that may be outside our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, RumbleWebsites is not responsible for loss, damage, delay, interruption, or cost caused by:
- Third-party hosting, domain, DNS, email, PayFast, API, plugin, browser, device, network, or platform issues
- Domain propagation delays, registrar delays, registry issues, payment gateway interruptions, or external service outages
- Client changes, client errors, accidental deletion, incorrect settings, weak passwords, shared credentials, or failure to keep login details secure
- Third-party developer code, external scripts, plugins, integrations, themes, tools, or files supplied by the client or another developer
- Malware, hacking, spam, phishing, denial-of-service attacks, compromised accounts, or security incidents not caused by RumbleWebsites' intentional misconduct
- Delays caused by missing content, missing access, late feedback, late approvals, unpaid invoices, or client inactivity
- Loss of business, sales, revenue, enquiries, reputation, search ranking, advertising performance, or opportunity arising from website downtime, delayed launch, service interruption, or third-party failure
Where a problem occurs, RumbleWebsites will make reasonable efforts to help diagnose and resolve the issue, especially for clients using Rumble Websites Hosting Services. Assistance may be limited where the issue relates to Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za, third-party hosting, third-party developer code, external platforms, unavailable access, unpaid services, or systems outside our control.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, any financial liability of RumbleWebsites is limited to the amount paid by the client for the affected service that directly gave rise to the claim. RumbleWebsites is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business opportunities, or reputational harm, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability, warranty, remedy, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited under South African law.
Data Protection & Privacy
- We process personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), and only for legitimate business, service, support, billing, legal, and security purposes.
- We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed to quote, communicate, build, host, support, secure, and administer your website or related services.
- We treat client information, website files, login details, project information, support messages, and business information as confidential unless disclosure is required to provide the service, comply with the law, or protect our rights or systems.
- This may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, business type, location, domain details, hosting choice, payment or subscription records, website preferences, website content, project instructions, support conversations, and any other information you choose to send us.
- For e-commerce websites, admin dashboards, forms, bookings, or similar features, the website may process customer, order, invoice, product, payment-status, or enquiry information as part of the functionality requested by the client.
- We use privacy-conscious first-party website statistics to understand visitor numbers, pages viewed, traffic sources, device categories, and approximate countries.
- The statistics use a random anonymous browser identifier. Raw IP addresses are not stored in visitor event records, and only an anonymised network prefix may be used briefly to determine a country.
- We honour supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals. Website statistics are used to improve the site and are not sold.
- We may share limited information with trusted service providers where needed for the website or service to work, including hosting providers, domain registrars or registries, PayFast, email or form tools, backup or security tools, support tools, and third-party integrations selected or approved by the client.
- We do not sell client personal information.
- Where your website collects personal information from your own customers, visitors, staff, suppliers, donors, or members, you remain responsible for using that information lawfully and for providing any privacy notices, consents, terms, policies, or legal wording required for your business.
- We can assist with implementing reasonable forms, notices, security settings, SSL, backups, and data-handling features where included in your package or quote, but we do not replace your own legal, regulatory, or industry-specific compliance obligations.
- We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including practical access control, secure handling of credentials, backups where included, and hosting security measures appropriate to the service.
- No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but if a security or data concern arises, we will act reasonably, communicate where appropriate, and help address the issue within the scope of our service.
- Clients must keep their own login details private, use lawful content and data, avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information, and tell us promptly if they believe an account, email, form, or website has been compromised.
- We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, backups, support, accounting, legal, dispute, security, and business-record purposes.
- Clients may ask us to access, correct, update, export, or delete personal information we hold about them, where legally and practically possible.
- Some information may need to be kept for lawful recordkeeping, accounting, payment, security, dispute, backup, or service-continuity reasons.
Termination
- Clients may cancel ongoing RumbleWebsites services by written notice through WhatsApp, email, or another agreed written channel.
- Month-to-month hosting may be cancelled at any time, and we recommend cancelling before the next PayFast renewal date to avoid another automatic charge.
- Where a fixed-term consumer agreement applies, the client may cancel in line with applicable consumer law, including any required written notice period and any fair, lawful, and reasonable charge for services already provided, work already done, costs incurred, or discounts received.
- Website design or development cancellations after payment are handled under the Deposit Policy & Refund Terms, especially where work has already started with the client's consent.
- Prepaid hosting periods are generally non-refundable because hosting resources are allocated for that period, except where required by law or where RumbleWebsites cannot reasonably provide the paid service.
- Any final invoice, unpaid balance, third-party fee, or agreed charge for work already completed remains payable up to the effective cancellation date.
- For unpaid hosting, the Subscription Management & Suspension Policy applies: services may be suspended after 7 days of non-payment with no suitable arrangement, and the hosting account may be closed after 30 days of non-payment with no meaningful communication.
- We may suspend or terminate services if a client materially breaches these Terms, refuses to pay undisputed overdue amounts, uses the service unlawfully, abuses our systems or staff, creates a security risk, or asks us to host content we reasonably believe is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, infringing, or unsafe.
- Where practical and legally required, we will give written notice and a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue before termination. Urgent suspension may happen sooner where needed to protect clients, visitors, payment systems, hosting infrastructure, legal compliance, or security.
- If there is no payment and no meaningful communication for 30 days after repeated WhatsApp and/or email attempts, we may treat the hosting service as no longer required and stop active follow-up, without hard feelings.
- Clients remain the owner of their final paid-for website files and may request a copy in a standard exportable format where reasonably possible.
- We do not intentionally delete completed website files merely because hosting ends, although the live hosting account, cPanel, email, database, subscriptions, and public website access may be suspended, closed, or removed from the server after the applicable notice or non-payment period.
- We will try to assist with a smooth handover where reasonable, but third-party hosting, domain, email, PayFast, plugin, API, licence, or platform accounts remain subject to that provider's own rules, fees, and cancellation processes.
- Termination does not remove obligations that should reasonably continue, including payment obligations, confidentiality, intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, data protection, dispute resolution, and any lawful recordkeeping requirements.
Legal Provisions
Business Identity & Transparency
RumbleWebsites operates as a small, personally managed website design and hosting service. Our focus is on clear communication, reliable service, professional work, and accessible pricing for clients who want practical help without unnecessary complexity.
- Direct service: services are provided and managed personally, with direct communication throughout the project or hosting relationship
- Service commitment: projects are handled with professional care, honest communication, and practical accountability
- Transparent operations: we aim to communicate clearly about scope, pricing, timelines, hosting options, and service responsibilities before and during the work
Note: These Terms, approved quotes, invoices, PayFast payments, written instructions, and agreed service commitments remain binding once work or hosting has been agreed, subject to applicable South African law.
Neither party will be responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond their reasonable control. This may include internet outages, hosting provider failures, domain or registrar issues, payment gateway interruptions, power failures, load shedding, cyber incidents not caused by unreasonable conduct, natural disasters, strikes, government action, illness, emergencies, or other events that make performance temporarily impractical or unsafe.
Where this happens, we will try to communicate clearly, reduce disruption where reasonably possible, and resume the affected work or service as soon as practical.
RumbleWebsites may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms apply to new purchases, new quotes, new subscriptions, or new instructions from the date they are published or communicated.
Existing Client Protection
For existing clients with active hosting packages, changes affecting their current services will be handled as follows:
- Hosting fees and package terms: existing clients will receive advance notice before material hosting fee or package changes take effect
- All RumbleWebsites hosting packages: we aim to provide at least 30 days advance notice for recurring fee changes or material service changes
- Service modifications: reasonable notice will be provided for changes that may materially impact existing functionality, unless urgent action is needed for legal, security, technical, or third-party provider reasons
- The approved quote, invoice, proposal, or written agreement for a specific project remains important and will guide that project if it conflicts with a later general Terms update, unless a change is required by law, security, payment provider rules, hosting provider rules, or mutual written agreement.
- Continued use of ongoing services after a notified Terms update takes effect may be treated as acceptance of the updated Terms for those ongoing services.
- Existing clients may choose to cancel ongoing services if they disagree with a material proposed change, subject to the Termination section and any amounts already due.
- Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the revision date clearly indicated where practical.
- The client agrees that quotes, approvals, instructions, notices, invoices, payment confirmations, support messages, and service communications may be sent electronically by email, WhatsApp, website form, PayFast, or another agreed written channel.
- Clients must keep their contact details up to date. If contact details change and we are not told, messages sent to the last details provided may still be treated as good-faith communication attempts.
- Electronic acceptance, payment, written approval, WhatsApp confirmation, email confirmation, or continued use of a service may be used as evidence of agreement, instruction, or acceptance where allowed by law.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
- If a concern arises, both parties should first try to resolve it through good-faith communication. The aim is to fix practical issues quickly, fairly, and without unnecessary conflict.
- If direct communication does not resolve the matter, the parties should consider mediation or another reasonable dispute-resolution process before court action, unless urgent legal action is reasonably necessary.
- If formal legal proceedings become necessary, they must be brought in a competent South African court. Where legally permitted, the Western Cape courts will be preferred because RumbleWebsites is based in South Africa and operates from there.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable South African law, including consumer protection, data protection, and electronic transaction laws where they apply.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision should be limited or adjusted only as far as necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
Platform Selection & Hosting Liability
Rumble Websites Hosting Services is our recommended managed hosting option. It allows us to support the website more efficiently because we can assist with the hosting environment, cPanel, DNS, SSL, email setup, backups where included, troubleshooting, and ongoing website changes according to the selected package.
Clients may still choose Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za or another third-party hosting provider, but support responsibilities and technical control are different when the hosting account is managed by the client or an external provider.
Hosting Infrastructure Partnership
RumbleWebsites is a verified Domains.co.za partner. For Rumble Websites Hosting Services, we manage hosting and domain-related technical work through our own service relationship. For hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za, the client signs up directly with Domains.co.za and manages that account independently.
- Managed hosting: for Rumble Websites Hosting Services clients, RumbleWebsites remains the first point of contact for normal hosting support, configuration guidance, and website-related technical assistance.
- Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za: clients who sign up directly with Domains.co.za through our partner link control their own account, billing, cancellation, renewals, cPanel, DNS, SSL, email, backups, package limits, upgrades, and support requests.
- Provider rules: Domains.co.za and any other third-party provider may have their own terms, acceptable-use rules, support processes, cancellation periods, billing requirements, and technical limits that apply directly to the client.
- Third-party changes: RumbleWebsites does not control provider outages, pricing changes, package changes, renewal rules, account verification, registry rules, or platform restrictions.
Client Domain Options
- New domains: where a .co.za domain is included or purchased through RumbleWebsites, registration and setup are subject to availability, registry rules, registrar requirements, correct client details, payment status, and any third-party provider requirements.
- Client rights: the client is intended to remain the registrant or beneficial controller of their domain, subject to the domain registration rules, registrar processes, and any unpaid amounts or administrative requirements.
- Existing domains: clients with existing domains may keep their current registrar and provide the access or DNS instructions needed to point the domain to the chosen hosting platform.
- DNS and propagation: domain pointing, DNS updates, email records, SSL activation, and propagation can take time and may be affected by registrars, registries, name servers, cached records, or incorrect existing settings outside our control.
While we strongly recommend using Rumble Websites Hosting Services for optimal results, some clients may prefer to use Hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za or another external hosting provider. In such cases:
- If RumbleWebsites designed the website, we will assist with the initial launch where reasonably possible and where the client provides the access, information, permissions, and provider cooperation needed.
- We are happy to provide a basic tutorial or guidance on how hosting configurations work.
- Ongoing configuration, account management, provider support, billing, renewals, DNS, SSL, email, backups, package upgrades, and cPanel work remain the client's responsibility unless a separate paid task, support arrangement, or written quote is agreed.
- After launch, website changes on partner-hosting or third-party hosting are not included as free managed-hosting changes and may be quoted separately, including the R10 to R1000 support range shown on the pricing page where applicable.
Third-Party Platform Liability Disclaimer
Important: When hosting with our partner, Domains.co.za or any other third-party platform:
- Third-party hosting responsibility: RumbleWebsites is not responsible for loss, damage, data loss, downtime, email disruption, DNS issues, SSL issues, billing issues, renewal issues, cancellation issues, account suspension, backup issues, or configuration problems caused by a client-managed Domains.co.za account or any other third-party provider.
- Provider terms: the client is responsible for reading and following the provider's own terms, cancellation process, acceptable-use rules, payment requirements, backup settings, and support procedures.
- Platform-specific limitations: different hosting providers have different PHP versions, server settings, storage limits, email limits, file permissions, security rules, database limits, DNS tools, SSL tools, and support processes that may affect website functionality.
- Support limitations: ongoing technical support may be limited where we do not control the hosting account, cannot access the required tools, or the provider's platform behaves differently from the managed environment.
- Best-effort assistance: while we can assist with deployment where reasonable, we cannot guarantee identical functionality, uptime, speed, email delivery, security, backups, or performance on external platforms.
For the easiest support experience and strongest ongoing assistance, we recommend using Rumble Websites Hosting Services. This approach provides:
- Better visibility into the hosting environment and website configuration.
- Unlimited standard website changes as part of active Rumble Websites Hosting Services, subject to the fair-use and add-on limits described in these Terms.
- Faster troubleshooting because we can work directly with the managed hosting setup.
- Better compatibility with the way RumbleWebsites builds, deploys, maintains, and supports websites.
- Backup, SSL, email, cPanel, and security assistance according to the selected hosting package, package limits, and any written agreement.
By choosing third-party hosting deployment, clients acknowledge and accept:
- There may be limitations in functionality, performance, access, support speed, backups, email setup, SSL setup, or configuration compared with Rumble Websites Hosting Services.
- The scope of ongoing technical support and maintenance is reduced unless a separate support arrangement is agreed.
- The client is responsible for provider-specific issues, provider communication, billing, cancellation, renewals, backups, package limits, and account access.
- RumbleWebsites cannot be held responsible for loss or damage caused by client-managed hosting, Domains.co.za partner hosting, another third-party provider, or lack of access to the required hosting tools, except to the extent caused by our own proven unlawful conduct or gross negligence.
AI-Assisted Development Process
RumbleWebsites may use AI-assisted development tools, including tools such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenAI, or similar coding and design-assistance tools, as part of our internal website development workflow. These tools help with drafting, debugging, testing ideas, improving code structure, and working efficiently, but the service remains a human-managed RumbleWebsites service.
AI assistance is used as a productivity and development aid. It does not replace client communication, project judgment, design direction, quality review, legal responsibility, or final human decision-making.
How AI May Be Used Internally
- Planning and structure: AI tools may assist with project planning, layout ideas, code structure, debugging, testing notes, or technical research.
- Code assistance: AI tools may help draft or improve code based on our instructions, but the final website is reviewed, edited, tested, and implemented by RumbleWebsites.
- Content assistance: AI may help draft or refine sample wording, layout copy, FAQs, headings, or support text, but client-facing facts, claims, prices, credentials, regulated statements, and business details must be checked and approved by the client.
- Custom implementation: Website structure, layout, styling, integrations, and functionality are shaped around the package, quote, client instructions, available content, and technical feasibility.
- Every project is guided by human oversight in strategy, design, implementation, revision handling, testing, and deployment.
- AI tools are assistants, not independent contractors, subcontractors, employees, or replacements for professional judgment.
- We make reasonable efforts to review, test, adapt, and clean up AI-assisted output before it is delivered or published.
- Because software and online services can be affected by browsers, hosting, third-party tools, client content, integrations, and user devices, AI-assisted work is subject to the same testing, limitation of liability, support, and revision terms as other development work.
- We aim to avoid sending unnecessary confidential, sensitive, private, or high-risk information into AI tools.
- Where AI tools are used, project instructions, code snippets, public website content, sample wording, or non-sensitive technical context may be processed to help deliver the service.
- Clients should not send passwords, private keys, banking details, medical information, legal case information, customer databases, or unnecessary sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely required for the service and has been specifically requested through an appropriate channel.
- Any use of AI tools remains subject to the Data Protection & Privacy section and any applicable third-party tool terms.
- AI assistance does not change the ownership position described in the Intellectual Property Rights section.
- Once the final paid-for website has been delivered and paid for, the client's ownership rights apply to the final website deliverable as described in these Terms, while RumbleWebsites retains reusable code patterns, internal tools, know-how, workflows, templates, and non-client-specific systems.
- We make reasonable efforts not to knowingly copy protected third-party work without permission, but clients remain responsible for ensuring that materials they provide, request, or approve are lawful and properly licensed.
- No AI-assisted workflow can guarantee that every generated idea, phrase, layout, image concept, or code suggestion is completely unique worldwide. We therefore review and adapt work reasonably before delivery.
The internal use of AI-assisted development tools is separate from any client-facing AI Chatbot Assistant or similar AI feature sold on the pricing page.
- If a client purchases an AI chatbot or similar AI add-on, that feature may rely on third-party AI providers, API credits, usage limits, model availability, provider rules, response quality, internet access, and configuration choices.
- AI chatbot responses may be helpful but can be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or misunderstood by users. Clients should not use a chatbot as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, emergency, or regulated advice unless they have obtained appropriate specialist review.
- Client-facing AI features may need clear website wording, privacy notices, disclaimers, conversation limits, and monitoring depending on the business use case.
Client Responsibility for Terms Review
Terms Accessibility
We aim to make these Terms reasonably easy to find, read, and ask questions about before a client commits to a service.
- Website access: the full Terms of Service are available on the RumbleWebsites website and linked in the website footer.
- Service context: pricing pages, quotes, invoices, PayFast checkouts, WhatsApp messages, emails, and project discussions should be read together with these Terms where they relate to the same service.
- Written record: clients are encouraged to ask important questions by WhatsApp or email before payment so there is a clear written record of any clarification, special arrangement, or agreed exception.
- Plain-language approach: these Terms are intended to be understandable and practical. If anything feels unclear, please ask before approving a quote, paying a deposit, subscribing to hosting, or instructing us to begin work.
Clients should review these Terms, the selected package, pricing page, quote, invoice, PayFast checkout, and any written project scope before making payment or giving us the instruction to begin.
- If a client does not understand a price, deposit, refund term, hosting rule, add-on limit, revision term, timeline, or service responsibility, they should ask for clarification before payment.
- If a client needs a special arrangement, exception, payment plan, custom feature, or different support expectation, it should be agreed in writing before work starts.
- Paying a deposit, paying an invoice, subscribing to hosting, approving a quote or proposal, or instructing us to begin work generally confirms that the client had a reasonable opportunity to review the applicable Terms and agrees to proceed on that basis.
These Terms are general conditions and should be read together with the client's selected package, approved quote, invoice, proposal, PayFast checkout, or written agreement. Direct project communication remains important.
- Project-specific requirements, inclusions, exclusions, timelines, exceptions, and special arrangements should be confirmed in writing where needed.
- If a written quote, invoice, or agreement gives a client a more specific service inclusion for that project, that specific written inclusion will guide that project unless it conflicts with law, provider rules, payment status, or another later written agreement.
- We are happy to clarify service-related questions, but RumbleWebsites does not provide legal, tax, financial, medical, regulatory, or industry-specific compliance advice. Clients may seek independent advice where required.
Agreement Effect
By proceeding with payment, approval, subscription, or service engagement, the client confirms that:
- These Terms were reasonably available before or at the time of engagement.
- The client had the opportunity to ask questions before payment or before instructing work to begin.
- The client agrees to be bound by these Terms, together with the applicable quote, invoice, proposal, PayFast checkout, written agreement, or written project instructions.
- The client understands that ongoing services may be affected by later Terms updates only as described in the Modifications to Terms section.
